Review: Natural Supply Co.!

Hey guys!

Today I want to talk about a fantastic website that I only recently had the pleasure of interacting with. Natural Supply Co. is a website filled to the brim with gorgeous organic and natural skincare, hair care, beauty, and more. This website is especially excellent for those of us who don’t have certain brands like Bite Beauty, Hurraw!, Kester Black, or Frank Green easily accessible in physical stores. I wanted to talk about this website and what I recently bought from them, because I was pretty blown away both by the sheer amount of products they sell and by the amazing customer service they provide! I hope that you enjoy this post and consider checking them out!

Review: LUSH Solid Perfume Trio!

Hey guys!

As you guys might know, I went to a LUSH event earlier this month and picked up quite the haul and I’m starting to use all of the items and starting to form opinions and I’m ready to start sharing those opinions! The first review that I wanted to share was the solid perfumes because they were the first thing that went in my basket at the event and was definitely the thing I was most excited about. I really hope that you enjoy this review and find it helpful!

My Skincare Routine

Hey guys!

Seeing as Priceline are having their 40% off skincare sale today and tomorrow, I thought it was a good idea to talk about what I do to keep my skin in tip top shape. Since switching up my skincare for cleaner products, I thought I’d talk about what I’ve been using to clean my skin and keep it in good condition. I mainly stick to one brand but I change it up for products that I use every other day. In case you are unaware, my skin is quite sensitive and it is prone to blemishes from hormones and from excess oil production. My routine caters to that so if you have a similar skin type, I hope that you find this useful!

10 Uses for Coconut Oil!

Coconut oil is pretty popular right now and for good reason! A lot of people are still scratching their heads about what are the best ways to use it so I thought I’d compile a list of effective ways to use coconut oil!

CoconutOil

1. Toothpaste!

This one was new to me and I haven’t tried it myself but I definitely thought that this was worth sharing! This is safe for both humans and animals. Just combine equal parts baking soda and coconut oil. You can add stevia to sweeten and/or an essential oil for flavour.

2. Hair Treatment

Just massage coconut oil through the ends of your hair, leave it overnight and rise it out in the morning for soft and shiny hair. This will also help reduce frizz.

3. Moisturiser

Whip up some coconut oil, a few drops of vitamin E oil, and an essential oil together for a quick skin lotion!

4. Face and Body Scrub

1 tbsp. coconut oil
1/4 cup sea salt
1/4 cup organic sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice

You could even add an essential oil if you wanted the scrub to be scented. Then combine and massage gently into skin.

5. Lip Balm

You can use straight coconut oil as a lip balm. And if you scoop some coconut oil into a small container, you’ll have a portable, lip balm.

6. Frying Oil/Pan Greaser

I use coconut oil all the time when cooking and I would highly recommend this one because it makes dishes a lot healthier!

7. Mosquito Bite Treatment

I get terrible mosquito bites and no treatment seems to work but this natural treatment is a great way to soothe the itching mosquito bite and help the healing process.

8. Makeup Remover

Apply some coconut oil with a cotton pad to your eyes and face at the end of the day. The oil breaks down the makeup.

9. Butter Substitute

You can substitute butter for coconut oil in baking and even on popcorn.

10. Makeup Brush Cleaner

Just like as a makeup remover, the oil breaks through the dirt and makeup on the brushes.
You can try using 1cup of warm water and 1tsp of coconut oil.

I hope this gives you a few ideas of ways to use coconut oil and incorporate it into your life!
