July Favourites

Hi guys, gals and non-binary pals!

It’s finally August, which means that we’re one month closer to spring and one month closer to my birthday! But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, we still have to finish July off by talking about the things that made this month a great month! I hope that you enjoyed your July, and now let me share what I enjoyed this past month!

March Favourites

Hey guys!

Today I’m sharing this month’s favourites! I kind of can’t believe March is over now! March in Adelaide is known as Mad March because there are so many festivals and events on all at once and it is sad that it’s over but I’m quite relieved that the city will slow down a little but I do miss cheap live entertainment! Anyway, let’s get on to the favourites!

4 Ways To Make Money At Home!

4 ways to make money at home

Some of you may know but I don’t actually work because I am full time at University and after a horrendous first year of University, I decided to quit work to give myself the best chance. Because of this, I’ve had more free time to work on assignments but it also means that I am lower on cash so to make up for it, I do little things from home that allow me to continue this blog with new products and hopefully interesting content. I thought that I’d share them with you all so that in your spare time, you could earn a few bucks here and there!

1. Opinion World

Opinion World is my favourite website to earn money from because it has given me the most opportunity to do so, with slightly less work than some of the other ways that I will show you later in the post. On Opinion World, you can find surveys and things that you can complete for points and once you accumulate a certain amount of points, money can be sent to your Paypal account or you can get gift cards or give the money to charity. This website is super easy to use. The only issue that I have with it is that there are surveys that you will be sent that you are half way through doing and then it will realise you aren’t the target for the survey. You also won’t be eligible for every survey but every survey that you half complete, you will earn an entry to their quarterly prize which can be thousands of dollars! So I would recommend giving this a go, I have earned the most money from this website.

2. Depop

Depop is primarily an app, they do have a website but I don’t think it functions the same way, that you can take pictures of things that you want to sell and people might buy your stuff. There is a bit of an art to it, you should try to present your Depop shop in the best way possible. I only have passable lighting for makeup products, it is a lot harder for me to take nice photos of all of the things that I want to sell. I am a bit of a hoarder, I think all makeup addicts are, and I have a tonne of stuff that I don’t use that I would rather just get money for or give away than just see it sit there and not get used at all. I discovered this app too late too because I had just been throwing out a lot of my makeup or just giving it to my mum but now I can actually get money back now for the money I spent and if it doesn’t sell, I can still just give it away. But I would definitely try out Depop if you haven’t already and here is the link to my shop!

3. Slice the Pie

Slice the Pie is a website where you can listen to 90 seconds of a song and then you give a review on it. Its fairly simple but you don’t earn a tonne of money from this platform. It is decent when you start getting your friends to do it and you start earning their earnings too because they used your referral link. The only thing that kinda sucks about Slice the Pie is that they sometimes won’t accept your review of a song because it sounds similar to other reviews you’ve made. This is a bit of an error on their part because people tend to have a writing style and will bring up things in a certain order, especially if they’re only listening to 90 seconds of a song. It is likely people will comment on the ambiance, the intro, and first impressions so it is a bit silly that they would make you keep writing to make the review sound different. You do also have to write about 60 words on each so you can’t just write a word and that be all good. You have to work for the money haha. I would still recommend it because it can help you hear about song writers that you may have never heard before and it can get your writing skill up a bit.

4. Swagbucks

Swagbucks is probably the most fun to play but I haven’t spent a whole lot of time on it. Like Opinion World, you can do surveys and earn some money that way. You can also watch videos for points and you can play some silly games for points! Eventually you’ll earn enough points to be able to get money from Swagbucks and similarly to Opinion World, you can get that via Paypal, send money to charity or get gift cards.

It wouldn’t be worth it to quit your job and answer surveys full time haha but this is definitely a great way of earning some money on the bus or train ride home, while you’re waiting for something to cook in the oven, things like that and every now and then you will earn enough points to get a little bit of money for your time. Its so easy and I would definitely recommend giving it a go if you’re looking to get a bit of pocket money.

I hope that you are all having a wonderful day!
