November Empties

Hi guys, gals, and non-binary pals!

Today I’m going to be sharing the trash that I accumulated over the month of November! There was a foundation that I was really hoping to finish by the end of the month but I just didn’t make it so it should be in my December empties later this month! I hope that you enjoy!

Mask of the Month: L’Oreal Pure Clay Masks

Hey guys!

It’s that time of the month where I review another mask for you guys! Today I’m reviewing two of the L’Oreal Pure Clay Masks that they came out with a few months ago. They’re a really good price and received a tonne of good reviews so I picked up these two during the Priceline 40% off of skincare sale. I hope that you enjoy the post!

March Favourites!

Hey guys!

March has been a really wild month! I recovered from the Bloggers United Event (still not fully recovered), started handing up assignments for honours, made my first Comgateway order (review coming soon!) and had a really nice Easter weekend! For the most part, I didn’t get a lot of time to discover new things to fall in love with but I do have a few things that I just can’t go on without mentioning in a favourites post haha. I hope that you enjoy it!

Frost Fairy Makeup!

Ever since I saw Mashyumaro post a look on her instagram using ice blues and her signature twirling eyeliner, I wanted to recreate it. I really wanted to push myself a bit and do something a bit different to the basic looks I’m used to creating.

I was also pushed to do this look after watching the Tinkerbell Secret of the Wings movie. I fell in love with Periwinkle and I had her in mind when I was doing this!

This is the eye makeup:

It is pretty intense and I just love it. I bought the little bubble stickers today from the cheap store (they weren’t that cheap though 😡 ). I’ve never coloured my eyebrows before, even when I wear my wigs I just fill my eyebrows in the same way as I would on a regular day. So, if they look really messy, you know why.

I basically used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk everywhere over my eye area. All over my lids as a base and then in my brows and then on top of my foundation for the dots. I wanted to show this photo of my pre-wig face because once I put the wig on, you couldn’t see the top dots around my eyebrows.

I lined the bottom of my eye and both sides were a bit wonky so I just blended some black eyeshadow into it and voilà, perfect eyeliner~~ LEARN FROM ME

Review: Lush Cupcake Facial Mask

I recently picked up the Cupcake facial mask while I was at Lush. I’d been meaning to purchase a new facial mask because I have had a lot of trouble looking after my skin lately and I love masks! I purchased this one in particular because it is meant for oily skin and I have combo/oily skin at the moment and I thought this would be a great way to combat the oil that has been invading my face, more than usual. Also, this product is both vegan and cruelty free and I want to try and buy more cruelty free products.

Cupcake 1 Cupcake 2

Rhassoul Mud, Glycerine, Linseed Infusion (Linum usitatissimum), Talc, Cocoa Powder (Theobroma cacao), Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Fresh Mint (Mentha arvensis), Sandalwood Oil (Santalum austro-caledonicum vieill), Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla planifolia), Spearmint Oil (Mentha viridis), Peppermint Oil (Mentha piperita), *Limonene , Perfume

Spearmint = Cooling
Vanilla Absolute = Calms Redness
Rhassoul Mud = Deep Clean
Cocoa = Oil Absorption

I really like this mask! I love the smell, which isn’t the “standard” chocolate smell. In my opinion, its a lot like chocolate milk or homemade chocolate cupcakes. As for what it does to my skin, it takes the shine away but it doesn’t take all of it away and make my skin dry. My skin feels very soft and smooth after I use this and it has reduced the redness in my cheeks! I don’t have bad break outs usually so I can’t really comment on that aspect but it has prevented them I suppose!

Here are some silly pictures of the mask on my face!

I’m sure I’ll be picking up some more Lush masks in the future because I really like a lot of the products they have in stock 🙂 I’d definitely recommend this for people with reddened skin and issues with oil control.
