Hi guys, gals and non-binary pals!
Another month has ended and it’s time for another post talking about all of the rubbish that I’ve accumulated over this month! A lot of this stuff is just items that I wanted to move out of my collection to help me use up more of my products without feeling overwhelmed by my options, which I know seems wasteful but it’s a lesson learned. I hope that you enjoy the post!
Hi guys, gals and non-binary pals!~
Today, I thought I’d review the Coastal Scents Hot Pots that I ordered during the half price sale! I’ve been using the shadows that I bought for about a month now so I’ve really used the shadows and have formed some sort of opinion on them. I hope that you enjoy my review!
Hi guys, gals and non-binary pals!
Today is my final post about my 100 Days of Makeup challenge! I can’t believe we have made it to the end yet again! Thanks for your constant support throughout the whole challenge!
Hi guys, gals, and non-binary pals!
Welcome to the last 100 Days of Makeup recap post before the finale! I really hope that you enjoy this week’s recap, I’ve used some products that are new to me and it was really exciting to play with them!
So, since becoming vegetarian, I really wanted to think about the makeup and skincare that I was using. I know that being a vegetarian doesn’t eliminate all of the cruelty involved in my eating habits but in the effort to minimise the hurt that I’m creating, I wanted to try to start using majority cruelty free products. I’m not doing this to make myself better than anyone else. This is just a personal preference that I believe aligns with my personal beliefs.
I plan on making this a sort of series where I update you all on my progress and my planning. In this post, I am going to identify what brands in my collection are cruelty free and to what degree they are cruelty free (brand doesn’t test/sell in China, parent company doesn’t sell in China, vegan). A lot of brands don’t test but their parent company sells to countries (China) where it is law to test on animals, so you’re still more or less buying into cruelty. I hope that this is helpful, I am only including brands that I personally use so this isn’t everything that is cruelty free by any means. This is already going to be the longest post ever haha. I hope that you enjoy the post!
Today, I’m going to be sharing my most favourite post of this week! I knew I’d be doing this during this week even if I wasn’t posting once per day and I’m so happy that it turned out exactly how I wanted it to. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so cute in my life haha. I really hope that you enjoy this look as much as I enjoyed creating it!
I can’t believe how quickly 2014 finished! I felt like I was busy, right up until the last day! I thought that I’d share my last makeup look and outfit of 2014 with you! I tried to do something a little bit different and because my camera isn’t all that great, it didn’t photograph well. But this year I’m going to be working on that so that in the future, I will be able to post better quality posts.
Here’s the look:
The bit that didn’t photograph well was the glitter eyeliner. It just looks like I’m wearing old lashes that I didn’t take the glue off of! I did my black eyeliner a little bit thicker than normal, and then layered a gold glitter liner and spread it out thinly across the black base. It looked really cool in person and I was really excited about it! It’s just a shame that it didn’t turn out for the photos.
I used the Coastal Scents Revealed 1 and 2 palette for the eyes and I used NYX Butter Lipstick in Hunk for the lips.
Here’s the outfit:
I felt a little bit like a potato-grandma in this outfit haha. The cardigan was the only one that I’d brought and the dress is a size too big for me but I love them both. The black dress has flower pieces all of the dress so I thought that they would work well together. And Mum found a golden unicorn pin in her jewellery box and I asked if I could wear it for the night because its really really cute!
I hoped you enjoyed the last day of the year and I wish you the very best for the new year!
