Easter Week: MOTD

Hey guys!
Today I wanted to share a little look that I did inspired by Easter! It reminds me a lot of how I used to do my makeup and it felt a bit like a blast from the past wearing it, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wanted to wear pastels and bright colours because nothing screams Easter quite like that. It is autumn in Australia so the colours are a bit off trend at the moment but makeup is makeup and you can wear it whenever, there are no rules. Now that I’ve sufficiently gone on a tangent, let me share my Easter look with you and hopefully give you a little bit of inspiration for your own looks this week!

Products Used:

Makeup Geek – Vanilla Bean, Peach Smoothie, Unexpected, Drama Queen, Ice Queen, Mocha, Barcelona Beach and Blacklight
NYX Jumbo Pencil – Milk
Wet n Wild – Mauve Outta Here
Covergirl Baked Blush – Medium
MAC Star Trek Beauty Powder – Luna Luster
Chi Chi Brow Pomade – Medium Brown
NYX Blush – Taupe
Physicians Formula – Bronze Booster

I wanted to create a fun and bright look involving some nice pops of colour without being too garish. I love the lid shade because it is a purple/blue duochrome, which is really noticeable in person and makes for an easy way to add wearable colour into your look! I also thought I’d add a white liner to my water line to make my eyes really pop. I used to do this all the time and then as I grew with makeup, I stopped doing it because I thought it made me look to young and too animated, which suited me fine when I wore lolita but less so when I started wanting to wear more neutral makeup.
