March Favourites

Hey guys!

Today I’m sharing this month’s favourites! I kind of can’t believe March is over now! March in Adelaide is known as Mad March because there are so many festivals and events on all at once and it is sad that it’s over but I’m quite relieved that the city will slow down a little but I do miss cheap live entertainment! Anyway, let’s get on to the favourites!

1. LUSH Ultrabland

At the LUSH x BUA 2nd Birthday event, I managed to pick up Ultrabland to test at home! I really like it because it eats up the makeup on your face and you can take it off so easily with a damp face cloth. Check out my review if you’d like to hear more of my thoughts!

2. Morphe 12S

I really wanted this palette after I’d enjoyed the 12P so much last year during my 100 Days of Makeup Challenge. This palette is full of shimmery neutrals. I loved the effect it gave me in my Mabon makeup of the day. If you’ve been after this palette, I would definitely recommend giving it a go!

3. MOR Mon Amie hand cream in Adèle

I purchased this very recently but it had been on my Wishlist for a while. With the mid-season sales on, I found a lot of the MOR Mon Amie line had been reduced and since I was finding I needed a hand cream, I took the opportunity to finally purchase something from the line. The scent is very typical me, vanilla and spices. If you’ve been wanting to pick anything from the line up, now is probably the best time to!

4. Graduation

On Wednesday, I graduated from my Honours degree! I am really proud of what I’ve achieved. I was so happy to walk across the stage again and receive my new parchment! I thought this would probably be my last graduation for a while but I’ve just applied for a scholarship for a masters degree so I suppose we will have to wait and see!

5. Straight Outta Oz Deluxe Album

I can’t even begin to explain how excited I was that Todrick Hall brought out an updated version of his album to go along with his new world tour. He added a lot of new songs and updated a few of the original versions. My favourite new addition is the new version of Low that they added at the end of the album. Low has been my favourite Todrick Hall song and on this album, he added RuPaul as a featured artist! I loved it so much. Definitely check out the deluxe album if you haven’t already!

6. Hamilton Soundtrack

I’d been avoiding listening to the Hamilton soundtrack for about a year because I knew I’d fall in love with it and be sad that I’ll probably never get to see it performed on stage. Well let’s just say that I stopped avoiding it and accepted the inevitable obsession. I haven’t played anything but Hamilton since I first heard it at the start of this month, much to everyone else’s dismay. Hopefully I can find a way to watch it somehow! I definitely recommend listening to the songs, they are so addictive and we can sing them together hahaha.
