Thanks to my great feedback from my Lughnasadh MOTD, I thought that I’d keep this series going and try and do a different look for each of the holidays this year! Mabon is the Autumn Equinox and is the second harvest festival of the year! I hope that you enjoy this look, I had a lot of fun wearing it!
NYX Shine Killer Primer
Too Faced Chocolate Bar
L’Oreal Total Coverage Foundation
Physicians Formula Bronze Booster
NYX Blush in Taupe
Red Cherry Lashes 217
Sash Cosmetics Desert Queen
I never wear copper colours but for Mabon, I thought that it was really the only appropriate colour to use. I mixed the two middle shades in the bottom row of the Morphe 12S to create my lid shade, and the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette handled the mattes and inner corner highlight. Mabon is the festival that celebrates the days and nights becoming equal, it is also the same time that daylight savings ends! For this festival, people start preserving the food that they’ve harvested. They’re making jams and and tending to crops that aren’t ready to be harvested just yet. I said in my last Sabbat look that by Mabon, the weather would be cooler but we are still experiencing 30+ degree weather so… I guess Winter is still a little while off. Hopefully by Samhain it will be cooling down.
