While it’s still been a little bit gloomy here in Adelaide, the Southern Hemisphere is finally in Spring and I’m certainly feeling it haha. Weather is getting warmer, bugs are creeping on out of hiding places and I’m getting so teary eyed every damn day that it’s not worth putting makeup on! Today I’m sharing with you three spring lip colours that I think are great for spring! I hope that you enjoy!
1. Runway Room – Librarian
I’ve been a fan of Runway Room since I met them at the Hair and Makeup Show last year and I got to see them again at Bloggers United! The lipsticks are insanely comfortable and they’re incredibly long lasting for a cream lipstick. There are a few shades in this line that just last and last on the lips. This shade Librarian is a warmer nude colour. It looks kinda neutral on the card but it does pull warmer, at least it does on my lips. It had a yellow undertone and I think it really brightens the face and doesn’t wash you out. I think that this colour would look fantastic on tanned skins because I think it would be a gorgeous nude, rather than a neutral brown, like it is on my lips. You can purchase this from the Runway Room website.
2. Milani Moisture Matte Lipstick – Matte Orchid
I adore Milani products and I really wish that they were easier to get your hands on here in Australia. But looking at the way we’ve adopted Sleek and NYX, I don’t think Milani will be too far away. You can buy these lipsticks at Rouche Boutique. They’ve just relaunched their website and if you’re wanting to get a little bit of discount, you can use the code ‘pastelsparkles’. These lipsticks are very comfortable, have great pigmentation and they have a matte finish. They come in an amazing range of colours but I think the best spring shade has to be Matte Orchid!
3. Vani-T Mineral Lip Glaze in Goddess
I received this gloss from a goodie bag that I got when I went to Bloggers United. While I don’t tend to wear gloss often, if I do wear gloss, I want it to be worth it and I think that this gloss is SO worth it. I definitely think that this gloss deserves it’s ‘Goddess’ name because it certainly makes me feel like a goddess when I wear it. It has the prettiest golden sheen that makes the lips look really nice and full. I’ll be posting a little instagram video later today to demonstrate the sheen-y quality. You can purchase this at David Jones, online or in selected boutiques.
I hope that you all enjoyed my spring lip picks! What are you looking forward to this spring?
