Just a quick post for today because I’m starting a new class and I have a lot of work to do because it is an intensive course. I’ll still have posts up regularly, I just wasn’t very prepared for this one hahaha. I also really wanted to talk about this nail polish because I am absolutely loving it at the moment. It could even be my favourite nail polish (I don’t know if I can really go that far but today, I just might).
I don’t usually go for grey shades for my nail polish because they tend to just make my skin look dead because it is so pale but this colour is surprisingly flattering on my skin tone. To me, it looks like a light, muted, grey-purple but it has some warmth to it and I think that that is why it looks flattering. When I looked up shades of grey on Wikipedia, I think it matches the Timberwolf shade the best. Beyond the perfect shade of grey, it also has a fantastic wear time. I’ve had it on now for a week and it hasn’t chipped at all and I can’t thank my top coat for that because even with this top coat on, nail polishes can chip super badly on me. Funnily enough, one of the worst chipping stories came from another Barry M nail polish that I tried from the Gelly range.
Here’s the nail polish on my nails. I took this photo on friday, after it had already been on my nails for 4 full days and it looks just as perfect here as it did when I first applied it and as it does now. I’d really recommend these Speedy Quick Dry polishes. In Adelaide, we just received the Barry M polishes at Big W. There isn’t a very big range yet but the colours that they do have in stock perfectly fit with spring and summer so you should have these seasons sorted if you like to wear colours to match seasons! I’d also recommend Barry M nail products because they are cruelty free 🙂
I hope that you’re having a really fantastic day!
