When I was first properly getting into makeup, this was the palette that I lusted over the most. It was cheap and I probably could have afforded it but I wasn’t earning my own money when I first started. I saw that this palette was going for only $10US on the BH Cosmetics website and I thought I’d better just buy it because I’ve always wanted it and I really had nothing to lose.
The palette looks gorgeous. I love that all of the baked eyeshadows look like little planets. I also love all of the names. It is not a secret that I really love space and space related things. This palette was just screaming at me and I just needed it in my hot little hands.
Here are the swatches:
I do understand that these are out of order but I have all of the names written there so that you can follow it easily and can refer back to the palette to see what the shades look like.
The only colour that was disappointing was Meteor. I got almost no pigmentation out of it. All of these were swatched dry and as most people know, baked shadows can be used wet or dry. If applied wet, you get better pigmentation. I haven’t yet tried these out went but I am looking forward to doing so and hopefully getting more use out of Meteor because at the moment, it looks like it is just a shimmery topper shade.
My favourite shades are Milky Way, Cosmic, Mercury, Saturn, and Prometheus. I think all of the shades are gorgeous and I’m so happy to have it. For a palette so cheap, I am pretty impressed with the quality and I can totally forgive Meteor for not really being up to standard but of course it might be my own fault because I haven’t tested it wet yet.
I hope that you are all enjoying your day!
