Review: GEO Medical Twin Hazel

Another month, another lens review for Adelaide Little Lens! I haven’t been wearing contacts very much lately because I haven’t really found the need to but I definitely want to work on that because I really love the effect that they give! Today, I am reviewing GEO Medical Twin Hazel YH-306.

Design: 3.5/5
I really love the colours used in these lenses, they don’t look natural so they’re great if you want to make a statement. These would also be awesome for cosplay!

Enlargement: -1/5
This pair of lenses was, honestly, terrible in the way of enlargement. They would benefit from a thicker black rim around the outer edge. They also don’t actually fit my eye so you can see my iris poking out underneath. These could work for someone else.

Comfort: 2/5
Because of the size, these lenses didn’t sit right at all. They kept moving around my eye and not even moved around when I blinked, like some do. They moved around slowly as I did my makeup and sat off centre, so for that reason, I never wore them during the day. They looked terrible and felt terrible.

Overall: 2/5
If any of the lenses I’ve recommended have worked for you, don’t buy these. They were in my eye correctly, they just really didn’t fit. Adelaide Little Lens sell plenty of pretty lenses in shades similar that I’d recommend over this pair. The effect would have massively improved had these had a thicker black band around the edge, the colours and design don’t suit a ‘natural’ look so the thin line isn’t necessary. I think this pair is pretty, its just a shame they didn’t fit me. Its actually really strange that they didn’t fit because I’ve had lenses with the same measurements and they’ve fit me just fine.

Anyway, here are some photos of me wearing them, you can see that they’re not really sitting correctly:

I had to keep moving them back on centre to take photos haha. I don’t imagine that that’d be fun to do throughout an entire day! Even though I didn’t enjoy these lenses on me, I would still highly recommend Adelaide Little Lens as your source for contacts.
