I recently purchased Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water because I’ve been wanting something that will take off my eye makeup easily. I use face wipes to remove my makeup but I haven’t been happy with how they remove my eye makeup so I thought I’d give this a try as a lot of people have been telling me that it is pretty good. It looks like a cheaper version of the Bioderma cleansing water, which everyone seems to love in the beauty blogging world! The only thing that was stopping me from purchasing this product originally was that its a Garnier product and their skincare and makeup products tend to break me out.
Here is what the product looks like:
This product is super easy to use, you put the product on a cotton round or something similar and gently rub your face. I needed to use 4 cotton rounds to clean my full face, it would probably take less if you wear less makeup. You get 400ml and that apparently equates to 200 uses (or 200 cotton rounds) so I should have about 196 uses left, so the product should last me 50+ days depending on how much makeup I wear or whether I wear it or not. This product expires in 6 months which is more than enough time for me to use this product.
Ingredients: Aqua/ Water, Hexylene Glycol, Glycerin, Poloxamer 184, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Disodium Edta, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide. (B162919/2).
This product hasn’t irritated my skin so far and it actually makes me excited about taking off my makeup haha. I could probably see myself using this instead of my face wipes or together with my face wipes, if I want it to last longer. It does the job and it leaves me skin feeling soft and smooth. It was only $11.99 AUD from Priceline which I think is a great price and I end up saving a bit of money by using this product.
I would recommend this product if you’re looking for something that will take off your makeup quickly and easily. I don’t have any complaints so far and if I do end up having a problem with this product I will update this post!
